Artwork Statement 作品簡介 

Technologies seem to advance every day, while the world becomes more complicated, and human senses gradually become less sensitive. Based on these facts, Wong tries to go back and investigate the body, developing a body extension "organ" to connect with the external environment. The level of sensibility varies for everyone and has a unique condition. The artwork tends to explore a new relationship between the body and the outside, and also how to transform experiences to cope with the unknown, discomfort, and fear. 

科技看似愈趨發達，世界亦愈趨複雜，人類感知敏銳度卻愈來愈低。眼見以上種種，藝術家嘗試重新感知身體，創作此身體的延伸「器官」感受外在世界。每個人的感知程度𣎴一，此作品傾向發掘身體與外界的新關係以及如何讓感知經驗轉化成誇越未知，𣎴安及恐懼的能量。 

About Artist 關於藝術家 

A designer worked in advertising and design field for ages. Studied Master of Fine Arts in 2019 to look for new inspiration. Time to sense the world with body and mind again, while investigating into the real self in solitude versus solidarity. Rethink about beings in every moment and leave marks and question marks back to the world with art. 

從事廣告及設計多年，於2019年重返校園修讀中⼤藝術⽂學碩⼠再開眼界，重新⽤⾝體感知世界，從感受中探索及研究孤獨與團結、⾃我與世界、個⼈與群體之間的關係。反思每個當下的存有，以藝術留下各種痕跡和問號。
