Artwork Statement 作品簡介 

This is my hand scanned by 3D scanner, which is a image series by slicing. 

Hands at abdomen level, rotates around 45 degree giving out a hand gesture. Same gesture, different intentions. It is a gesture that can either build up connections or fulfilling ambitions. 

I am here to shake your hands to invite you building up connection with me from another medium, and I am seeking answer of how you can shake this hand when it is even not exactly a hand for you to shake. 

You thought you shaked my hands, though you don't . It is a battle between delusion and illusion.

這是我用3D掃描儀掃描的手部，是一系列切片圖像。 

手位於腹部高度，旋轉約45度，做出一個手勢。相同的手勢，不同的意圖。此手勢既可建立聯繫，亦可實現雄心。 

我在此與你握手，邀請你通過另一媒介與我建立聯繫，我亦在尋找答案：當這甚至不是一個你可以握的真實手部時，你如何與之握手? 

你以為你握了我的手，實則不然。這是一場 delusion（錯覺）與 illusion（幻覺）之間的較量。

Jeremy Yeung is a City University of Hong Kong BscCM Year 4 undergraduate, master the skills and aesthetics in both commercial art and fine arts design, mainly focus on 3D modelling, sculpture, animation, design and event organizing.
