Artwork Statement 作品簡介 

This work takes the ginkgo as its theme, expressing my gratitude for the beauty of life. The ginkgo’s floral meanings are ‘purity’ and ‘a lifetime of devotion,’ symbolizing my personal qualities and my hopes for love. I wish to preserve the childlike innocence within me and to remain sincere in love as I have always been. It is both an expression of gratitude toward myself—thankful that I am still who I once was—and of appreciation for those I have loved. I am fortunate to have met them; they have taught me much and allowed me to experience happiness. This is also my way of offering them my blessing of lifelong devotion. 

這件作品以銀杏為題，抒發我對生命美好的感恩。銀杏的花語為「純潔」和「一生的守候」，它代表着我的個人特質和對愛情的希望。我願自己能保持着與孩童般純真的一面，對愛情一如既往的真誠。題目「杏好是你」既是對自己的感謝，感恩幸好我還是以前的我，亦是感謝我愛過的人，幸好遇見了他們，讓我在學習了很多，體驗過幸福，這也是我向他們表達一生守候的祝福。 

About Artist 關於藝術家 

Undergraduate of Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Visual Arts in Hong Kong Baptist University, who specializes in Chinese painting and calligraphy. Based on the traditional gongbi, the artist explores mineral pigments through personal experience and feeling. The works integrate both Chinese and Western elements, breaking through the boundaries of traditional Chinese art. Utilizing the technique of burning foil, the artist showcases the traces of time, giving the pieces a sense of vitality. 

現修讀浸會大學視覺藝術系，專修中國藝術。在工筆畫的基底上，嘗試探索岩彩的可能性，以自我經歷和感受為題，融合中西元素，突破傳統中國藝術的界限。作品運用燒箔技術，以此展現時間的痕跡，令作品富有生命力。
