Artwork Statement 作品簡介 
 
'Auntie Angel Store'' invites viewers to a nostalgic journey through Hong Kong’s traditional tuck shops, commonly known as "士多 (si6 do1) " by the locals, reimagined through artist Angel’s blue-and-white ceramic artworks. Drawing inspiration from the quintessential "士多", Angel transforms local culture memories into a tactile, sensory experience — where tradition meets daily life. 
 
「嬌姐士多」透過本地藝術家許開嬌的青花陶瓷作品，重新演繹香港傳統的「士多」文化。靈感源自坐落香港各處的「士多」，許開嬌的作品喚起文化記憶，將傳統與日常生活交融，以陶瓷的永恆質感，將這些瞬間的味覺與文化記憶轉化為持久且可觸摸的藝術語言。 
 
 
About Artist 關於藝術家 
 
Hong Kong–based artist Angel Hui Hoi-kiu, educated at Hong Kong Baptist University and the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing. Celebrated in exhibitions across Asia, Europe, and the Americas, her practice demonstrates a profound sensitivity to the quiet poetry of everyday materials and the cultural narratives they carry. 
 
 

許開嬌畢業於香港浸會大學及北京中央美術學院，憑著敏銳藝術觸覺，作品於全球廣泛展出。許氏以日常物品為靈感，她的創作模糊了生活與藝術的楚河漢界，為觀者帶來深刻反思，譜寫出獨有的東方當代韻律。
